Rusy is protesting because he worked with Mueller in the Gotti case and he knows full well what Bobby Three Sticks is capable of accomplishing, and he probably has a really good idea of his this whole affair will play out. In the meantime, he has to do something to earn his money before the source is cut off short...
He actually said that Mueller was mad at trump because he didn't hire him as FBI director and resented him for it. Unreal.

1. "There is no proof!"
2. "Cohen is a liar!"
3. "He may have been told about the meeting, but nobody says he was told what happened at the meeting."
4. "Just because they met with some Russians and told Trump about it, so what?"
5. "Donald wasn't AT the meeting himself, so it means nothing."

"They didn't get any information at the meeting, so it doesn't count"

Just watched Rudy on Cuomo's show. Rudy kept calling Cohen a liar and comparing the situation to Benedict Arnold and Washington saying Cohen betrayed trump. He said trump is honest and has no credibility issue.
Rudy belongs in a rubber room.
Exactly what I was going to say! Trump definitely knew about it because of the press event.
But perhaps the highest-stakes denial was given by Trump Jr. in his testimony last year to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
"He wasn't aware of it," Trump Jr. told lawmakers, referring to his father's knowledge of the meeting. "And, frankly, by the time anyone was aware of it, which was summer of this year, as I stated earlier, I wouldn't have wanted to get him involved in it because it had nothing to do with him."
