This is a vitally important question that must be settled immediately.

Is "nuclear" pronounced "new clee ar" or "new cue lar"?

Homer Simpson and George W. Bush should have the last word on this crucial issue.

Is Park the car pronounced "park the car" or "Pahk the cah"?

It mostly boils down to a regional accent and I don't recall any "speech police" complaining about Bostonians and their cah.

No, it is not regional. There is a correct pronunciation and an incorrect one. The English language is being slaughtered and the "regional accent" defense is no defense.

You're talking about the difference in the way people pronounce certain letters which has nothing to do with pronouncing it as though it's spelled differently.

It's ignorance, not a regional difference.
