Right.

Of course, that is assuming he is convicted of 0 of the remaining 10 counts at retrial.

Oh and also assuming he is not convicted of ANY of the charges in his other upcoming felony trial.

I will hazard a guess that the odds are pretty slim for both of those.

Muller will likely wait until after Manafort’s next trial in Washington DC next month to decide on whether or not to push for those 10 mistrial charges. If Manafort is found guilty again after the next trial, he could already be facing more jail time than he could ever hope to outlive so pushing these charges again could be a waste of everyone’s time and money.

One head on that snake
Overwhelming corruption
No justice in judicial system since it is totally politicized
Economy for the masses of Russians is stalled and basically non-functional
Why---because corruption is the economy...

I guess you didn't read. He took a plea deal to get a lighter sentence. Educate yourself.

Trump stepped off plane in WVA and commented on sad day re Manafort
Said nothing re Cohen
And said it was sad to see Manafort's situation come to such a sad end---
Sad end---
Not what Manafort's attorneys likely wanted to hear after their Hail Mary after the verdict

He knows there's another trial with more damning charges, right?

Is there any type of time line Mueller/prosecution has to adhere to when considering retrying after a mistrial verdict?

He can refile as soon as the 29th, I believe someone said in another thread. Up to whatever the statute of limitations is, so, years.

I can't speak for what Trump actually KNOWS as in factual assessment--
I think that is in some outer ether which comes and goes
Likely someone has reminded him of that
But this is all damage control
"This doesn't involve me" was one part of his remarks....
