Yes both parties have their issues, convictions like this should have bipartisan support regardless of affiliation.
Manafort and Cohen are scum. Trump surrounded himself with shady people. My only point was the Clinton's did also. And like this special council, the Clinton special council was cheered by one side and condemned by the other. Bipartisanship is pretty much dead at least among the devotees of the two parties.
Technically it did get thrown out. 10 of the 18 counts resulted in a mistrial.
I would bet that those 10 were overwhelmingly for conviction. Like 11-1 or 10-2. I figured there would be one or two cretins on the jury. But 8 convictions is plenty good.
