But he does have strong evangelical connections so unlike Sarah Palin for McCain, Pence was a booster for Trump
But he would be a horrible president--not because of the religious angle--which is bad--but because he spins worse than pinwheel in a hurricane

I agree with most of what you said. Except the Putin thing, as so far, no one has shown an indication that he is involved with that. If evidence comes out, I'll be the first to acknowledge that, but at this point, there is no public evidence we can point to.
What if Pence gets indicted too, along with Ryan and McConnell? What if we are dealing with President Orrin Hatch by the time all the papers are served?
That, too...how far down the line of succession must we go to find someone solid and uncorrupt?

Happiest place for Manafort to be for the next decade is in prison. He's f'd with the Russians. He's 70. Ask those ex-Russian spies that pissed off Putin and hid in England how things are. Oh yeah. They're dead. Polonium or some bio agent.

I don't think Trump will pardon Manafort, but simply commute his sentence which would be appropriate. He already served time, and he's a convicted felon. But does he deserve to rot years in jail? Nope.
You don't think he deserves jail time for what he has done? Do you know why he was in jail before the trial?

If you have something to support these baseless assertions, present it. You will be literally the first to do so. Until you present a basis for these so-far baseless claims, they will continue to be baseless. Your feverish hopes and desires that maybe Mueller will come up with something does not constitute an actual basis for any of this.
There have been many leaks from the Mueller investigation, and you have no knowledge of any basis for the claims you supporting. But that is apparently the life of the constantly lying left.
