Poll:

1- Manafort convinced Trump to change GOP Ukraine Platform
2- Putin asked Trump to change GOP Ukraine Platform

http://www.npr.org/2017/12/04/568310...kraine-support

The “bigger” question is why the Hell would the U.S. wanna do this? Just a guess, but, I’m thinkin that Trump is paying back Putin for Putin’s “loans” to Trump and Trump was helping Manafort “get hole” w/Ukraine etc.

Mr Manafort's attorneys are arguing their client did not lie on loan applications because he was not the one to fill them out and in some instances did not realise he had done anything wrong.

I have filled out papers for others but the bottom line is the one that signs are responsible for the accuracy.

Donna, this is comical! They simply have no defense so they try and manufacture one outta nuthin.

My accountant does my taxes every year. I’m gonna “forget” to tell her about some income and I’ll “short” the IRS. If/when I get caught I’ll blame my accountant!

Defense also argued Manafort can't be liable for anything his company did...ie failed to report income.. because his wife owned 50% of the company.

Why isn't she on trial too?

What are her clothing bills and doesn't she also love living mansions and driving sports cars at the expense of tax payers and in support of the world's worst dictators.

Afterwards, in a procedural hearing, the defence asked that the charges against Mr Manafort be dismissed, saying the evidence lacks “materiality” and “a failure to show the necessary willfulness.”

Judge TS Ellis III sealed the courtroom without ruling on the defendant’s motion for acquittal or asking whether Mr Manafort will present any evidence.

“What we do will not be permanently sealed,” he told media and onlookers gathered in the courtroom. “When the case is over, the seal will be lifted.”

Prosecutor Uzo Asonye said Mr Manafort said he owned the firm in full when filing as a foreign agent in 2017.

Did she own 50% or not. If so she should be charged also.
