Utter, leftist nonsense. There are no jobs that Americans won't do for a fair wage. If we actually needed more immigrants to do jobs that Americans are supposedly too lazy to do then we'd have increased our visas for legal immigrants to come and take them. Since we haven't, what does that tell you?

If employers are hiring foreign workers its because they are getting the job done at the right price. The market can limit immigration just fine with private borders and jobs. We as this country, duh. Employers do have a right to hire legal immigrants but they do not have the lawful right to hire illegal aliens. Right price at less than a fair price? Then it's not "right".
I don't collect government bennies and jobs should pay a fair market going rate not less than minimum or some ridiculously low wage so that Americans can't compete with "immigrants" willing to work for those wages.
What's a fair wage? You have people on CD freaking out about raising the minimum wage. How much are you willing to pay an American citizen for mowing a lawn or doing whatever job these illegal aliens are supposedly doing?
The going market rate, that's what. Illegals aren't supposedly doing jobs they are doing them for less than a fair wage to an American. Have you been living in a cave not to know this? I'll pay whatever is necessary and would never employ an illegal alien for anything.
If you think paying an illegal alien less for doing a job is benefiting you then you aren't factoring in your share of the over $100 billion a year that illegals costs us.
My retirement is set from hard work and income property. I really don't care if social security goes away. I know I will never need it. Just cut a check to the people for what they paid into it plus interest and shut it down.

The CNS senior editor isn't big on reporting both sides of the story or disclosing the right-wing nature of her sources. She also let a Scientology-linked attack on psychiatric drugs stand unchallenged.
In October 2013, Hollingsworth had an article on the CNS site said that a continuing resolution to fund the federal government included a provision for Planned Parenthood, even though no other news organization reported it. So it's safe to assume that's a false report. CNS removed it within a day.
To name just one more example: When NY Catholic Archbishop Timothy Dolan said that only abortion provisions kept Catholics from cheerfully supporting Obamacare, she quoted no supporters of Dolan's statement; only right-wing Catholics who objected to Dolan. One of those objectors was Michael Voris, who said only faithful Catholics should have the right to vote and that the ideal government would be a dictatorship of the Catholic faithful.
And I just scratched the surface of that link about the writer of the OP's article. Seriously, the author herself is just plain disingenuous. With that kind of track record, how can I trust Hollingsworth to be truthful about her claim that Obama's Social Security Administration issued SSNs to half a million illegal aliens?
