So Lebron, who Laura Ingraham says should just “shut up and dribble,” just opened up a new school in Akron. The place is beautiful too.

Wonder what Ingraham has to say about THAT!!

Too bad, he could have built a private school and done some innovative things outside the govt box. And if its a public school its not free.

Ingraham is too busy trying to bully survivors of school shootings to make a positive impact.

He's a divisive uneducated idiot but sounds like he might be at least trying to do something positive....I applaud this effort, let's see if it actually helps anyone but LJ's image.

whatever he gives, he'll probably get back 3 fold in endorsements so also a good wealth move.

Pure class. Nothing more needs to be said. I don't ever recall hearing about the likes of Jordon or Bryant doing something even remotely like this.

Good for him for giving back to his community. Hopefully the kids will respond, and more importantly, the parents realize the opportunity before them.

I will leave it at that.

Why wouldn’t the kids respond and why wouldn’t the parents take advantage of this opportunity?

Maaaaan...you should be ashamed of yourself. Seriously. You’re casting aspersions in a dry manner, and it’s too transparent.

I hope his action in this, will encourage many others, who have more money than they could imagine spending on themselves, to do similar things. He gives stellar performances on the courts and does it with class and this wise investment is right in line with that.

If he’s a divisive uneducated idiot and you’re not, why aren’t you a multimillionaire? What school did you open?

Can't speak for Bryant but Jordan has given away millions of dollars. He spent $7 million last fall building two family clinics in at-risk areas in Charlotte, NC. He's given millions to schools for literacy programs and also gives to other charities.

I think it's great that Lebron James did this. It's always nice to see people who have made it giving back.
