Its YOUR money. Its letting you and me take the money from our SS accounts and use it for paid family leave...not a bad idea considering most don't think SS will be around when we retire.
If I have no kids do I get corresponding SS benefit? I made the decisions early in life that I would not have kids because they are a huge responsibility and expensive to boot. Is it too much to ask that other people make responsible decisions and be responsible for the decisions they make like having kids?

Good bills, good diversity of bills, good results, good experience and Foreign Policy knowledge.
I've been wrong before & it's always an unhappy experience - Rubio showed promise.
He doesn't seem able to help himself from self-destruction.

Exactly...are those without kids supposed to just wait for all the money they put into SS to go down the inevitable drain?
News flash- You don't have any money in social security. There is no money at the SSA. There is no money being placed in your account. When your boss withholds all that money from your pay check, all of it is sent to the U.S. Treasury. [none goes to SSA]

Yes and they were brought down by other nations with laws. Not by some loose confederacy of sovereigns who only respond if their rights are being infringed upon. Why? Because anything else is statist hegemony that cramps their style. Plus, they mostly just hate to pay taxes.
