It's astounding how little some people know about the very basics of our government among other things. Actually it's embarrassing when you think about people going through 12 years of basic education and yet have very little basic knowledge in general. I've met people at my work who don't know there are 12 inches in a linear ft.
Somehow they manage to make it through life.

The money goes to the local police or county where you got pulled over not to the state as it stands now unless its the highway patrol. A federal plate would not change that.
