I know her father is a war criminal and that causes emotional problems growing up.
But still, couldn't she understand that Socialism is an economic, not a political ideology. Further couldn't she understand a non-for profit model of production does not equate to welfare like social security?
And does she know that her numbers are false (The price would be less than the corporate subsidized model we have today).
Also, why don't the other View hosts push back against her nonsense?
And while we're at it, why do they still buy into Obama is a left winger (he's not)?
I don't hate her but I get annoyed whenever I hear a Republican say their perspective changed when they or someone they loved became very ill. Now she's sympathetic because her dad is ill and before she just shrugged and said oh well, health care is a privilege? I've seen interviews like that more than once, including some Republican that worked to oppose Obamacare only to have his life saved by Obamacare later. It's just sickening to me.
Our school system is socialized. If it weren't, Republicans would say "we can't have national education, look what it would cost!" No other civilized country our size has health care like ours. And what's more, I live two hours from Canada. This idea that Canadians are coming to the U.S. for health care? Way way way overstated and we go to other countries for health care much more. I know Canadians and they love their health care system and definitely do not envy Americans, they just shake their heads.

He's a "war criminal" because he was following orders attacking enemy targets? Supposedly a light bulb factory?
Do you realize that in Korea and Vietnam, the US bombed the hell out of many targets, many of which had both civilian and military applications? It's not always black and white.
If McCain is a "war criminal," then you must be a pacifist who thinks every military service member is a war criminal.
