Tell that to the 92 million Americans who are not working.
So, what do you want us to do, hold there hands and say, go get a job?
I have to remind my 17 years old son (who started his first job last week), those companies out there hiring, don't know you're looking for a job, unless you are out there letting them know....
You're flailing on this one finny....
Maybe you're working with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and 200,000,000 people are making less than $20k yearly......
Making the automatic correlation of a lower unemployment rate equating to more hiring is incorrect. Those giving up on job seeking and/or retiring contribute to lowering the unemployment rate. Hello...how many boomers do you think are pulling the pin today? A few, or a LOT?
Not a good number, but oddly it will be celebrated as "awesome".
The 12 month average is 203,000, which is well below the average from past years.
the negative Nancy shows up to spin good news as bad as usual.
are you going to lose your mind when its 140k next month? The fact that we can still add jobs to the economy when we are already at full employment is great!

There is plenty of room given the amount of Americans who are not working.
You're missing the point....when things are already full....how can you continue to add at a pace equal to or faster than you got to the full point?
You guys switch back and forth on this all the time. When the jobs numbers are above average, it's "Woohoo!" and when they are below average it's "Well, the economy is already chock full of jobs so Trump can't add much more."
If it's true that the economy is chock full of jobs and Trump can't add much more, then Obama deserves total credit for that being the case. You can't on the one hand say that Obama did nothing for the economy and then on the other say that Trump can't replicate the same job numbers as Obama because the economy is already full of jobs.

How did we get to full employment? During Obama's tenure, the UE rate hit a high of 10.0% in October 2009. By the end of his term, the UE rate hit a low of 4.6% in November 2016. During Trump's term, it has dropped to 3.9%.
So is the argument that Trump did more to get the rate down from 4.8% (his first day in office) to 3.9% than Obama did to get the down from 10.0% to 4.8%. This is like a Quarterback marching his team downfield to the 1-yard line and then handing it off to the fullback for the Touchdown. Would we give credit for the drive to Tom Brady or would we give it to the random assortment of Patriots runningbacks over the years that no one even remembers?
