Stupid and crazy things happen every single day, but for some reason a criminal's tribe seems to be super-important. So you've got a Christian who killed his parents dog? Well that barely holds a candle to all the atrocities carried out in the Cultural Revolution and Great Leap Forward in China, the Holodomor in the Ukraine, Pol Pot and the Kmer Rouge massacring 1/3 of the population of Cambodia. The stories of extreme torture and human cruelty are beyond belief!

All of that was in favor of an atheistic ideology called Marxism. All of the offenders were atheists. Conclusion: Atheists are evil murderous people, right?

Democrats are 3 times as likely to engage in violent crime compared with Republicans. Clearly, Democrats are evil violent people, right?

Or how about we just take people as individuals instead?

not truly fair there, abraham was being tested, and was given a lamb in the end because he passed the test god gave him.

just because someone says it was god taht told them to do something bad, doesnt mean it is true.

While that's very interesting, the greatest mass-murderers in human history and the most massive atrocities have been perpetrated by atheists. So apparently his non-god told Stalin to kill 30-60 million people? And Mao's non-god told him to kill 50-80 million people? And how about other religions? The Japanese Empire killed approximately 20 million people at the bidding of their Shinto-Buddhist religion's behest obviously. Apparently Buddhism is a morally evil religion, right?

It's easy to play this game. I have a better idea. How about we don't? People are individuals. We should judge each person individually.

If we're seriously playing this game, Christianity has done a better job of making people more kind to each other than any other religion or ideology in human history. But basing your judgement of all members of entire ideologies on single bad actors is clearly a lot more fun, am I right?

Yes, if you believe in an omnipotent and/or Christian GOD - then GOD made these non-believers do these evils. I win.

The GOD of the Christian-Judeo bible is the "the greatest mass-murderer in human history"

So you don't believe in God but you believe that God created Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot and is therefore responsible for their crimes against humanity??

You seem very confused to me.
