Welcome to America. We were founded by religious extremists who wanted the freedom to practice their crazy beliefs without government interference.
My own father “went off the deep end” with religion after he nearly drowned in a rip current in the late ‘80s. And nobody in my social circle thought it was anything unusual. In most other modern industrialized countries, he would have been recommended for mental health treatment. Not here in ‘Murica.
Holy ****, somebody needs to read a few biographies and memoirs. Claiming the revolutionaries who founded this nation were religious extremists really shows that you need to do a bit of research.
For instance, Ben Franklin: have you read of his personal life and intrigues? Alexander Hamilton. You haven't a clue what happened with him, have you? That's just two. Very few of them were religious extremists and some where not religious at all. Books are your friends. Especially primary source books and cited source books. Don't trust the bull**** you read on Wikipedia so much. Or material from propagandists.
Well I dont know if eternal damnation exists but I DO KNOW that tying his dog killing naked butt to a tree with him slathered in peanut butter will be enough for me. Release the rabid rats!
Well, if Jesus spoke told you to kill a dog, you might have different feelings on that.
If you "get it" stop reading here and move on. Otherwise, continue.

New Feature in My Posts:
For those who are unable to process literary allusion, satire, sarcasm, symbolism, or otherwise sardonic content, the above is referred to as satire (via negation and hyperbole). It is a remark that purposely takes the opposing point of view to that of its author, often in a hyperbolic manner, in order to point out the typical stance of those who do hold that opposing view.
That in mind, my intent is to point out how ridiculous a generalization the OP post is attempting to lead--i.e. making all Christians look whacked by citing the actions of one deranged individual who happens to be Christian (presumably).
To further belabor the point, the intent of the OP is to make a conclusion based this form of logical fallacy: Frank is crazy and Frank is a Christian, therefore all Christians are crazy.
See the logical flaw there? For those of you who are into identifying fallacy... can you name it?
OP said the man is not representative of anyone but himself. There's a lot of Christian-bashing going on in this thread, but I don't believe the OP is one of the guilty parties.
