True that. Nobody deserves to be shamed for their looks or figure.

OH FOR ***** SAKE!!!

I see 20 somethings wearing cutoffs a couple of inchs shorter all the time!!! I saw a Canadian girl going to the Bluejays/Mariners game last night with some shorter sitting at a stop light. Thats about how long my daughters cut theirs. I see no problem here.

As Cape Cod Todd noted, those punks with their belts around their knees need to learn how to dress. That's just stupid. I always get the urge to do something to make those fools take off running when I see it.

Her figure is not ugly. It's normal and she's most likely in great health to boot.

At least she doesn't look like she was just liberated from a Nazi death camp.

That's why this story is suspect.

We only have her story. By her own account, she had a nasty back and forth argument with mall security, and who knows what exactly was said and who started it.

I'm sure there are other young women there every day who are dressed as she is.

My guess is, it was her behavior that got her kicked out.

And then she goes home, posts a pic of her butt cheeks on facebook and cries about how embarrassed she was.

This will be nothing but good publicity for the mall if they handle it right when the "**** walk" happens today (if it does). Have the store managers put out specials, food court put out fun samples, make a party atmosphere.

There's no such thing as bad publicity in the world of the dying shopping mall.

I believe she believed that she was tossed from mall because of her short shorts, but is this the truth? I highly doubt it.

Right.

Whether or not she is pretty is irrelevant. The shorts are either allowed, or not allowed. If they are not allowed, the "dress code" should state that explicitly.

I have seen far worse than that.

I'd rather see those short "mom jeans" on a woman then have to see one more homeboy with his saggy pants and his entire butt hanging out.

Now that is gross not to mention stupid.

"I have seen far worse than that."

Maybe the OWNER'S of the mall, who ESTABLISHED the dress code, higher moral values then you do.
