LOL yeah.....right. It's okay if you want to keep your head in the proverbial sand. It's a lot quieter in there I hear.

That's what you took from the article? What about the part that most of the job growth is in Democratic voting counties? As much as they cry foul, Trump voters seriously need jobs gifted to them because they cannot compete with diverse populations. Trump territory is devoid of talent and full of sour grapes, the last kind of people employers want to hire.

This far right/alt-right movement is mostly about loss of self esteem and the feeling that their white racial makeup can be cashed in for new benefits.

I can't tell if this is satire or not...I honestly can't tell anymore....headline- places that were doing well before trump came into office continue to do so as he enjoys the continuing recovery and growth that took place during Obamas term. Places that were suffering continue slower/less growth if any all the while continually voting against their self interest time and time again...

I didnt realize a county could be a member of a party? And that its party allegiance determine its successes and failures.
I have to brush up on my groupthink

Hard to believe that Clinton and Obama ever said manufacturing wasn't coming back as they worked hard to bring it back.

Reshoring Initiative brought thousands of manufacturing jobs back.

"Sixty thousand manufacturing jobs were added in the U.S. in 2014, versus 12,000 in 2003, either through so-called reshoring, in which American companies bring jobs back to the U.S., or foreign direct investment, in which foreign companies move production to the U.S., according to a study from the Reshoring Initiative. In contrast, as many as 50,000 jobs were “offshored” last year, a decline from about 150,000 in 2003."

Manufacturers bringing the most jobs back to America

"Manufacturers like Hessaire are part of a growing move to “re-shore” manufacturing jobs that were once lost to countries such as China and Mexico. The Reshoring Initiative, a group that focuses on bringing manufacturing jobs back to the U.S., estimates that between 2009 and 2016 more than 250,000 jobs were created or brought to the U.S. from other countries."

Automation made reshoring financial feasible for many companies.

it's how the GOP stays in power in so many places like this- they whip these people up into a frenzy on single issues that mostly don't even exist (Obama is going to ban guns, gays allowed to marry in churches, illegals getting health care, etc)...and then get them to vote against their own interests in support of these "issues'....
