You don't have to explain it to me. I drank up a business in 1985. When they poured me into detox I was pouring down a half gallon of Evan Williams Black every 24 hours. It's been 32 years since I had a drink.

I have zero sympathy for drunk drivers and celebrate silently when they are arrested and shamed for putting other drivers lives at risk. I know nothing of the incident in the OP, but in general, it is unfortunate people focus on comments, race, gender of drunk drivers instead of the public danger from drunk driving.
Apparently it was an editorial decision not to use her name by the paper. A Facebook friend found her mug shot on the local police web site. She's a real estate agent. I'm guessing that will hurt her bottom line.
