What nonsense. I am one of the "greedy" I guess in that I had a list of things I thought would benefit us all? Im in the top 20% for income, do you think magically my taxes are low? Because let me assure you they are not.

What gets me is how people miss how much so many of these would help them, and those they care about while they focus on their greed. The universal healthcare one especially. The lack of healthcare is killing people.

since you started with "the government offered" there can be no end to that sentence that will include a public good....

LOL.

so I would pay higher taxes if it would be used by liberals to self deport.... but it would require the self deportation of approximately 50 million liberals.

More investigations into the shady dealings of the politicians.

Actually drain the swamp

We're already paying high enough taxes to provide for social 'needs' and an effective, efficient government.

Higher taxes will never be the solution. Under the current system, there is no amount of 'higher taxes' sufficient to quench the greed of corrupt politicians and ineffective government bureaucrats.

I would be willing to pay higher taxes for honest, non-career politicians who actually spent other people's money, like it was their own ... and who were as concerned about the welfare of their constituents, as for themselves.

More law enforcement in high crime areas. Southside Chicago is a war zone.

Hell I’d even activate reserve troops to go in until the “weekend record breaking” shootouts are gone.

We tried the liberal way, now we’re going to try it my way. Don’t like it? Stop shooting each other up.

Yes. We don't seem to have enough money in this country to FIX things like infrastructure.

Same.

Trump is/was preferable to Hilary not because of his policies, but because of:
  • Lulz
  • Taking a wrecking ball to the GOP
  • Hillary (anyone really) should not have a lifetime of criminal behavior rewarded with the highest office in the land.
But now that I think about it, deregulation is something I agree with. There has been some deregulation and he did campaign on it.

Back to taxes - over half the federal budget is waste. So 50 cents of every dollar is literally thrown away on nothing. Why do we need to increase that number even one cent?

There are 320,000,000 people in the US all with different wants and needs, in no way can any wish list or program "benefit all". And everything implemented by the state to benefit someone, requires it to make someone else forcibly poorer, so please dont try to come of as being altruistic. The private marketplace is where where wishes are fulfilled.
