Shrug. So? What are you folks suggesting here. That we should involve ourselves in another countries internal choices? We shouldn't be the world police-especially the world religious police!

China, for all of its faults, is an important bulwark against the spread of Christianity and Islam. Both religions believe that they have The Truth and therefore have a divine mandate to conquer the whole world. I shudder to think what would happen to humanity if either religion achieved global hegemony. Christianity and Islam have already conquered most of the worlds’ land area, with only China, parts of India, and Japan remaining free of infection.

Personally I'm for freedom of religious beliefs and practices and freedom from religious beliefs and practices. China is violating their supposed freedom of religion.

Oh look at you,trying to compare apples and bananas. First. Make up your mind, are they communists, socialist, or fascists? Most of you folks have no idea what any of those even mean. Once you have some actual comments with facts other then what are to you emotional laden words, then your comment might be worth making note of.
Due to the increase of Christianity and Christians in China, Communist Atheist state of China is cracking down on number of churches and destroyed hundreds of them along with removing crosses, religious icons and bibles ordered to be replaced with the communist flag and picture of the president. Chinese government is waging the most severe systematic suppression of the religion since 1982 after Mao.
This is the country we are trading with and dealing with in daily basis!
Outrageous! We need to get every red-blooded American together and send them a blast of Thoughts and Prayers they'll never forget!
China is cracking down on religion-dealers. That’s not necessarily a bad thing.
I can’t say that I agree with their methods, but at least they recognize that religion (like drug use) is a social pathology that should be controlled/ limited.
