Has "white supremacist" become a term which can describe anyone, regardless of their race? Is racial hatred, no matter who expresses it, the fault of white people?
This is not new. They used to be white! In Texas, back in the 50s , it wasn't a contradiction for a Mexican to be a white supremacist.
There were literally Mexican white supremacist newspapers in Dallas.
Quote:
Pedro R. Ochoa, owner of Ochoa Auto Parts and Publisher of the weekly six-page paper Dallas Americano, was a staunch White supremacist during the 1950s and printed headlines such as "conserva su raza blanca" (preserve your White race) and "segregacion es libertad" (segregations is liberty). Ochoa's whiteness embodied extremes of nativism and White supremacy...
He regarded Mexican Americans who joined African Americans in the struggle for civil rights as race traitors and encouraged his readers to join the "Spanish Organization of White People."...
Ochoa wrote: "...the NAACP, chamber of commerce and other ni***r groups ["agrupaciones ni***rianas"] have consistently promoted integration to raise the equality, intelligence, and superiority of the black race".
Ochoa strongly believed that every improvement in the lives of Black Americans came at the expense of Latino Americans and that only by keeping blacks down could White Mexicans raise themselves up.
The Left has repeatedly attempted to call people of Mestizo extraction "White"when they screw up badly (or the press is presenting like they have). That's the primary issue.
No, the Left made up the "hispanic" term! It was a political fabrication.
Before they became "hispanics", Mexicans and all people of Spanish origin used to be white.

Mexicans were as racist as the Klan.
And Mexicans were also lynched in many parts of Texas, and Puerto Rican baseball players were forbidden to play in Major League Baseball and many played in the Negro Leagues.
They can’t understand that Latinos are not some monolithic group.

So? That doesn't mean anything. Anglo-Americans were lynched in Texas in larger numbers than Mexicans. Anybody who was accused of a crime could be lynched. It wasn't necessarily race related.

Only if they were black. White Puerto Ricans and Cubans played in the Major leagues without problems.

No the left did not. And perhaps you can explain why it came into use during the Nixon administration. In the US, someone with no Spanish ancestry at all can be Hispanic.

That happened too. I think Mexican-Americans were in a situation of being the "middle man minority". They were looked down on, but not as much as Black Americans were looked down on.
Black Puerto Ricans were were forbidden in the majors.
There is something else interesting. Many Black American baseball players were able to play baseball in Mexico in the Mexican League.

No, all of them were not black. Many were clearly mulatto, and many with varying degrees of ancestry and forbidden to play.
Using some logic, I’m assuming that the ones who were allowed most likely could “pass” as they say.
Where did anyone say they don’t care this happened? The issue is Tariq race baiting, calling this shooter a white supremacist when he obviously is not one.
The family obviously are innocent victims and no one should have to live in fear of thugs like the shooter.
When someone says "What an amateur. Signed, Southside Chicago", I'm seeing a covert implication, as to say "the only shootings we should talk about are black on black shootings and nothing else matters".
