That, my friends, is what you call double standards and 'privilege,' and just another example of how little some take sexual assault against women seriously.
A man who tied up a 14-year-old girl before sexually assaulting her will serve no jail time after defence lawyers told a US court the incident was consensual.
Logan Michael Osborn, 19, pleaded guilty and was originally sentenced to 10 years in prison with eight years suspended by a judge in Chesterfield County, Virginia.
But circuit judge Timothy J Hauler delayed the enforcement of the remaining two-year term in January, then stayed the prison sentence entirely this week.
If this was my daughter, I'm not sure I could just let this go. Hauler needs to be removed from the bench. And that sick twisted f needs something I won't describe here.

If this was my Daughter, I would whole hearty support the judges decision to release this guy... it would make it that much easier for me to get my hands on him to dispense some real justice.
As for minors having sex, it's always been a grey area when two minors have sex, but last time I checked, being over 18 is an adult. A 19 year old having sex with a 14 year old is automatic statuary rape far as I'm concerned.
WAS it consensual? Did she say it was? 19 and 17 or 18 OK but 19 and 14? That's too much he deserves jail time either way.
Its only a 5 yr age difference. My grandfather and grandmother were further apart in age than this, actually many couples from that generation were. Ive never heard anyone calling them out on this.

? I think you need to look up the definition of statuary rape, you seem confused. The number of years in age difference is irrelevant. The issue is a 14 year old is a child, she doesn't fully comprehend the consequences of her actions and anyone is 18 or older is an adult, who should understand the consequences. Is his responsibility to protect children and not act on his impulses, even if she throws her self at him, "Take me now". It true that some people are not mentally matured at age 19, but the law has the draw the line somewhere, legally it's drawn at age 18.
