Trump couldn't have scripted this better. Now the Fake Media is colluding. Bring on another Special Counsel! #WINNING!

Trump plays them like a flute. Of course, if they were still in the business of unbiased investigative journalism, they wouldn't have no need of it.

U.S. Senate comes together, republicans and democrats unite as one, unanimously rebuking Trump's comments about the press being the enemy of the people.

Funny how inconsistent Republicans/Conservatives are. They're happy to claim large numbers support them, and happy to cite articles supporting Trump. But when large numbers are stacked against Trump, or journalists agree on how appalling his behavior is - then Republicans sing another tune. Then suddenly it's all "fake."

This idea of a biased media is a throwback to Jim Crow days. The bigots bitched about anybody who wasn't just like them.

Newspapers have always had a POV. Anybody who wants unbiased has no understanding of newspapers.

Don't like it? Trump already has his own TV channel. He has enough money to start his own newspaper.

Don't like your town daily? This is a free country. Start your own.

No one will read them.

Like giving 3rd graders an assignment to write a composition and then tacking it to the hallway bulletin board for all the parents to see.

Oh yeah the free press is certainly not silenced, so what are they crying about.

If they think Trump is ramping up negative publicity for them they are mistaken. their own words are a dead giveaway the free press has chnaged jobs and is now an official propaganda machine.

The widespread publication today, no different than any other day assumes Oblivious media think if trump did not bad moutth that segment of the media engaged in a pattern of hate and fear mongering directed at Trump, no one would have noticed.

After all these same people swallowed nancy's, 'we have to pass it to find out what is in it', so they must be dumber than dirt and are unable to think for themselves..said the media when they gave nancy a pass for that supreme insult!

Most local newspapers are simply an arm of their local Democratic party. Most national newspapers are mouthpieces for the DNC. Any thinking person is aware of this.

I do not dispute the right of these publications to be so nakedly and obviously partisan. After all, the First Amendment guarantees them this right. What I do find objectionable are their pious protestations that their efforts are immune from criticism and always in the best interest of the country.

Too many people conflate the freedom of speech with infallibility. Unfortunately, many of these people are journalists.

I'm the Old Fashioned type - we actually get 2 Newspapers every day (only one on Sunday) - Local Paper which is not really "local" - it's McClatchy owned and the Wall Street Journal.

No Bash Trump & Whine in the WSJ, but I didn't expect there to be. Local paper devoted an ENTIRE page to their Whine - no surprise.

Absolutely nothing could have reinforced what President Trumps says -

"Fake News is the Enemy of the People" ...... they don't like him and we "get it".
None of that excuses the Daily digs at him and the mis-reporting or doing stuff like removing the word "fake" from his quote. Today's Collusion between 350 News Media validates exactly what Mr Trump says. They seem to think that all of the people who Voted for Mr Trump are just too "deplorable" to understand what they are doing.

As usual -- this will backfire on them and they will still be clueless about WHY he won and WHY they continue to have high negative ratings. Trust is lost in these fools.
No dear, actual paper newspapers have been dying for years ever since the internet. Basically everyone knows this. How did you not?

The dream of every authoritarian banana republic. To have their own people turn against the news. Some of the folks here are shameful.

Congratulations Trump, you've torn down one of the fundamental pillars of our society and government.

Jefferson would be ashamed to see this.
