When that particular media dies, no one will morn the loss since it's no longer really the news.

The problem is that they don't just have to die; they have to return to their roots. https://www.morriscreative.com/6-cor...ia-in-america/. According to that article 50 news corporations existed 30 years ago before this 'bigger is better' push. With 50 news corporations to chose from they had to attempt to present fair and balanced news. If they did not; their competition would. Now, the five or six corporations left, are all connected at the hip somehow to liberal politics. It's too bad we could not throw them all in a Cuisinart to send them back to where they started!

The rally calls for the opinion writers that staff newspaper editorial boards to produce independent opinion pieces about Trump’s attacks on the media. So far, according to the Associated Press, 70 news organizations have agreed — from large metropolitan daily newspapers such as the Miami Herald and Denver Post to small weekly newspapers with four-digit circulation numbers.
“The problem, of course, is that there is war on the press being conducted by the president of the United States and his supporters. To say otherwise would violate a different commandment. Yes, it’s imperative to keep your cool. It is equally imperative to state what is true.”
‘Not the enemy of the people’: 70 news organizations will blast Trump’s attack on the media

IMO, what they should do, is totally BOYCOTT, THE NON-HUMAN SCUM! Never report ANYTHING on IT!
I would love to see NOTHING REPORTED reported on IT, UNTIL IT'S THROWN OUT OF OUR WHITE HOUSE!

"70 news organizations will blast Trump’s attack on the media"

Maybe it SOLD read 70 GUILTY news organizations will blast Trump’s attack on the media.

You Trumpees need to wake up. The news organizations you are against are comprised of employees who are Democrats, Republicans, Independants, and of no party affiliation whatsoever. Somehow you think that only the Democrats are running these stations, and nothing could be further from the truth.

I realize that it must be upsetting for you to turn on the TV , or pick up some paper or magazine, and see commentaries about things that Donald Trump has done that are questionable, but you have to go to the source. Donald Trump is the one DOING THESE THINGS ! He is his own worst enemy, these are not fabrications, they are what is actually going on.

I know you would love to turn on the TV and see the hosts saying glowing things about Trump , and never questioning anything he has done, but this ain't Russia or China. One of the cornerstones of our Democracy is the freedom to ask questions and make comments about those people in charge. If we were to silence the free press, as Trump would love to do, this would no longer be America. These reporters ask the questions that need asking and they dig for information that some would love to keep hidden.

If you don't like a free press, and do not want to hear bad news, there are a lot of countries that would be right up your alley...……...this ain't one of them.

As far as the media is concerned, though doth protest too much.

Any media counter protests will be ineffective.

Trump: "You're a large problem".

Media: "We're not a large problem"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

That's a gist of it. Their alarm highlights their guilt, in direct correlation with its outrage level.

Moreover, Trump isn't the one that the media has to argue with.

Trump is not directing an ever increasing portion of the populace to believe that the media is an enemy of the people. Trump is only pointing out what an ever larger portion of the populace has come to believe through direct observation that extends years, if not decades, before Trump came onto the political scene. The media's behavior toward Trump in the election season and beyond was only a continuation of their prior widely-observed and consistent political orientation that has led to consistent lies (propaganda).

Trump's words are Trump noticing.

The media has long waged a war on noticing (the facts that it omits to frame its lies), which very ironically is a large part of what has driven the populace to consider them to be FAKE NEWS and an enemy of the people.

The media viciously defends crafted political narratives that are built on lies of omission, and rarely defends factual (inclusive of all facts) accounts of any issue that carries a significant political weight. Thus, it is an enemy of the people.

The media will not change and thus the media, in its current form, is permanently sunk insofar as how it is viewed in this nation. And rightfully so.

That the media has become both an avowed and observed tool for one political agenda means that it both deserves to be seen as an enemy of the people and it deserves all of the animosity and political penalties forthcoming, until it can be successfully reformed to again be a national institution that reports facts instead of sculpting them for political causes.

The media has no legitimate defense. It can only lie more and cry about how much people don't trust them. Its a pathetic display, and their slide into oblivion, insofar as their perceived integrity is concerned, is irreversible. The media is a dead man walking.

President Trump did not say all news organizations, folks. He pointed out only those who chose not to report the news as it is, but to manufacture fake information and twist the real happenings to fit a particular left-slanted narrative and attempt to fulfill a left-wing agenda, much of it aimed at destroying our current president. That is what's under attack, ladies and gentlemen. It should be obvious even to you left-wingers out there, and you know it.

People are seeing the difference between what is news and what isn't. Thank God that we have many sources available to people, online or otherwise, to let everyone know what is really happening in our nation. Too many people out there just want to cover things up or ignore things or manipulate, and that is where the real evil is.

By the way, besides for the exclamation points, do you think that talking in bold also highlights their guilt?

Bottom line...No, the journalists and reporters do not need these liars to dictate the "alternative facts" news to them.
And how many billionaires own these news organizations that these journalists work for? Almost every single one. Bezos and WP. CNN and turner broadcasting. MSNBC, NBC, and CNBC is comcast. ABC is Disney. The list goes on and on and on. Even the NYT now has greater proportion of stock owned by a Mexican billionaire than the Schulberg family. After the mexican loaned them money because the nyt was sinking.
So you think only Trump has reason to use alternative facts? Lets see, the mexican billionaire was also the 7th largest donor to the Clinton Foundation. Its called payback. And its called follow the money. Its always about money.
