That's a great idea! I'm going to suggest that to my Representative.

George Washington would be proud!

We don't use those punch-type ballots. No "hanging chads". Number 2 pencil in a dot will do the job.

That's it! Works very well IMO. Far less chance of hacking.

Link to the BOLD....and PLEASE do not provide the link where the GOP already gave 300 million (not sure of the number) and then in a later vote decided not to add another 200 million..

Numbers are not accurate........

I always do absentee paper ballots. It is way more convenient. But if the paper ballots are entered into a computer--could it still be hacked and totals changed?

I took away a couple of things.

Hacking is a future career path to be an expert in cyber security, so anyone looking to the future should think about the field. They are like our new army--protect the country from hacking meddlers.

And why is the so-called president of the US NOT interested in this, and also denying it half the tiem? He not only ignores it, but just doesn't seem to care about cyber-attacks (because they may have helped him). Our country is under siege by real enemies and he's blathering on about the press. Why isn't he interested in protecting Americans from political and financial hacking?

The press will not change election results. The press will not attack our electric grid. The press does not hack into retail credit card systems. This admin needs to stop chasing squirrels and do something about real problems, or at least pretend to care.

trump IS your president...

but what you should be worried about, which it is clear you're not, or just don't care......is why did the last president tell his administration to stand down when they knew the russians were hacking our system?

Sigh. No, she didn't hack "Florida's Election Software". She "hacked" the site that was displaying the results. Not the database that was holding the results. Pure scaremongering.

Of course, it was a mock exercise but it demonstrated that even a kid could hack the site.

You'll have to ask Mitch McConnell that question. He was the reason for the inaction.
