This is all grandstanding on the part of the politicians, not much else. It seems to be a routine every spring or summer now days.

Hey, I'm a died-in-the-wool Democrat but the reality is that the American people, through their collective actions, have brought the prices of oil down on ourselves. For Congress to blast executives for high oil prices is just disingenuous. Americans are addicted to oil and cheap energy and it's reflected in the millions of little choices we all make every year.

If the oil companies dont do something to lower the price of oil.. Then demand might take care of the supply in the next couple of years..

MDI says it should cost around $2 to fill the car’s carbon-fiber tanks with 340 liters of air at 4350 psi

Fact 12% of our Oil comes from arab countries. Yet the arab countries control the pricing or OPEC oil. That seems confusing. We get most of our oil from canada and mexico and within the united states. Any reason we are still paying these prices to third world nations. As soon as the war started suprise, suprise the cost went up. Hmmmm Seems to me America could drop the 12% of Arab oil and make up the difference other places. You mean in the united states we dont have that 12% of oil. Sounds fishy to me. Anyway the "law makers" will just ask the same stupid questions. How much are you putting into your altervative fuels? Followed by if we give you more money for research will you lower the price by 10 cents? Followed by I think the government should "create a program" to fix the problem (that is code or screw the American some more) How about the government lower the price of gas by removing the gas tax for a year and see how much less gas is. Do you know who made the most off GAS with record profits. The Government on all the taxes on the GAS, they don't have to do anything but collect. Hmmm which is it are we fixing the gas or "fixing the gas"

Liberty you are starting to scare me. I just discovered you today and began to follow your posts. I thought I was the only one on earth who was smart enough to see through this government's lies and their commie ways. I see I have a perfect DNA match in you.

My only problem with you is I think I saw you were from NJ. I was. But I was smart enough to escape the extortion fees the NJ corrupt govt was shaking down the states residents for. Are you on the property tax crusade yet? I want to hear that. Direct me to your posts on that one.

Keep up the good work my friend. We can work together one day. 1000 REPs to you if they let me.

Being from NJ allows you to vote for Murray Sabrin... that counts for something!

I try to stay out of the New Jersey posts being that most if not all are liberal socialist. I put some in there from time to time if something interesting comes up. There is a post called "Why is New Jersey so Liberal" I think you will enjoy my comments.

Hey you all like that giant sign on rt 80 going into Penn.? It says "Welcome to Pennsylvania, America starts here".

That old witch Christy Whittman got them to take it down but when her 4 years were up Penn. put it right back up.
