I can't fathom how liberals didn't give a crap about the debt when Obama ran it up from $10T to $18T. And don't cite some stupid state like Reagan tripled it. Obama's register rang up more than ALL OTHER PRESIDENTS COMBINED.

That said, here is the plan. Get the economy roaring again. (Really a monkey could have done this but Obama couldn't). Check.

Bring a bunch of tax money back in the country by lowering the rates so as to be competitive. Check.

Bring up tax revenues as economy roars. Check.

Pay down debt. Coming.

to be honest

Reagan/bush1 nearly did triple it

jimmy carter increased the debt by 57% from 600 billion to 944 billion

yes the debt tripled under Reagan/bush1...Reagan admin it went from 944 billion to 2.6 trillion.....bush1 took it from 2.6 trillion to 3.1 trillion

the debt nearly doubled under Clinton from 3.1 trillion to 5.87 trillion

the debt nearly doubled under bush2 from 5.87 trillion to 10.6 trillion

and the debt has nearly doubled under Obama, who did NOT shrunk the deficit... 10.6t to 19.9t

and it will probably double again...but WashingtonDC doesn't seem worried, as they continue the path

Well, the Reagan and Bush 1 presidencies should not be lumped together.

Also, Democrats were in control of Congress during all of the Reagan and Bush 1 presidencies.

Would you prefer a tax hike for over 80% of taxpayers?

As the chart shows, the middle class got more of a tax cut, by percent, than the wealthy did.
