The guy with no pride in America is Trump. His need to take Russian Dollars since his bankruptcies in the 80's has corrupted his mind.
WE have large parades on Memorial Day in small towns across the country. He does not know this.
We show our pride in our ability to speak freely. Trump does not believe in free speech.
We have both Memorial Day and Veterans Day for Cadet Bone Spurs to put on a smoke and mirrors carnival show to declare his patriotism regardless of the fact that he disrespected a Gold Star family, insulted John McCain's military service on various occasions and as recently as last week and put three of his self-serving Mar-a-Lago cronies, who have no business and experience in the arena, in charge of veterans issues.

Each year, the question comes back: how much does the organization of July 14 to the taxpayer? The bill, though high, must be related to the significance of the event, and its legitimacy in relation to other "festivities". Festive rendezvous of French citizenship, the national holiday offers different events all ultimately funded by the taxpayer. Like all public expenditures, its cost of organization is the subject of criticism, especially since the usefulness of July 14 is primarily symbolic. Regarding the military parade, the bill is of course the height of the show: this year, 3720 military parade, as well as 241 horses, 211 land vehicles, 69 aircraft and 29 helicopters. All the main elements of national defense are represented, with the honor of the units that participated in recent domestic and foreign operations. The goal: to show the nation, to greet the Head of State and, this year, his American counterpart Donald Trump. The overall cost is usually borne by the army, and the bill was about 3.5 million euros Défilé, feux d'artifice... Combien coûtent les festivités du 14 Juillet ?
Here are two of Trump's latest tweets followed by Muriel Bowser's. The bolded is Trump wanting to blow money on jet fighters so his associates can make easy money on military waste. Shameless, greedy A-hole.

The local politicians who run Washington, D.C. (poorly) know a windfall when they see it. When asked to give us a price for holding a great celebratory military parade, they wanted a number so ridiculously high that I cancelled it. Never let someone hold you up! I will instead...

....attend the big parade already scheduled at Andrews Air Force Base on a different date, & go to the Paris parade, celebrating the end of the War, on November 11th. Maybe we will do something next year in D.C. when the cost comes WAY DOWN. Now we can buy some more jet fighters!

Yup, I’m Muriel Bowser, mayor of Washington DC, the local politician who finally got thru to the reality star in the White House with the realities ($21.6M) of parades/events/demonstrations in Trump America (sad).
He genuinely looks like he's taking his last walk or something.
Honestly, it's that posture and vacant look on his face he gets at times that really leads me to suspect that he has dementia.
Note also, the troops don't have a look of joy on their face either.
