I didn't say they're living it up. I said they're living beyond their means, which is true.
This is true for many who cannot get ahead, including working poor but many across all income levels. These people spend as they want, not saving and not planning or being able to control their own money. They then wonder why they aren't getting ahead.
People have a right to do what they want, but they don't have a right to claim they are victims afterwards.
Everyone supports Socialist programs when it benefits them.
No. People ponder socialism when capitalism doesn't benefit them any longer.
You can't fight an enemy you don't understand. Don't label them as lazy bums and then reject their concerns. The more we do that, the more powerful they become as more frustrated workers join their ranks. The evidence of that is in front of us, and has been for a long time.
And once again, I am not a socialist. I reject it completely. I will fight to my death it's rise in our country. But if we think it can't overtake America in time because (fill-in-the-blank), we're nuts.
And once again, I am not a socialist. I reject it completely. I will fight to my death it's rise in our country.
Socialism means workers owning the means of production. Not the government. I am just curious, why will you fight to your death to prevent workers owning the means of production? Are you a member of the working class yourself?

Please come back with a better argument. Schools and roads long exited before we "socialized" them.

To force other people to pay for your children is called slavery.
