Maybe one place has cheap burgers and expensive fries and sodas, another has pricy burgers and cheap fries and sodas. Cost of key ingredients vary. An item heavy on expensive ingredients will cost more to make.

For another, who says it is the same Big Mac? Maybe it is but this site says they vary around the world.
"Just as their price varies, our research concluded that, in fact, Big Macs around the world come in very different shapes and sizes."

This is desperation though. Big Mac is cheaper in Germany than in America. There is no big difference between them. Calories are roughly the same according to McDonald's own nutritional info.

Here is a menu from McDonalds in Germany 2018, you'll get the gist of it.

Your argument is clearly falling apart and everyone can see it. Millions upon millions of Americans lose their job when they can no longer do it because of disability. Many because they became the victim of the cruel social policies that cause mass crime, drug abuse, homelessness, huge number of car accidents and drunk driving.

It’s ironic that all these people obsessed with western and Northern European countries simply can’t be bothered with actually moving there.

Nah, better to bash America while they continue to envision Europe as some paradise socialist utopia, forgetting that it only exists due to America’s powerful military.

Correct yet conservatives continue to argue against empowering the poor.

We'll keep on fighting for the expansion of the social democratic policies we implemented here during our peak labor organization from the 1930s-1970s. It can happen again. Hell even many Trump voters think of this period of strong unions, high trust in public institutions, high taxes on the rich and low inequality as a good time for America.

I'm not leaving and I will continue to argue and vote against conservatives.

Popular?

I was taxed to pay for Medicare and Social Security for four decades and it will be still another decade before I begin collecting what I have been paying for all those years.

Not sure how you get popular out of that.

As for public education, I would prefer a voucher be issued to every school-aged child so that they can attend the school they choose.

A voucher just means tax payer money goes to that school. it's still the same thing as public education. If you were consistent, you'd advocate abolishing public education. Afterall, why should some single bachelor pay taxes for public education when he has no kids These are the kind of asinine arguments your side is making. It's whining, it's selfish. It's not a good look.

Desperation? I said nothing about the relative cost of dining in either country. I'm simply pointing out the absurdity of using a single menu item at a single restaurant to measure it.

I guess countries are wasting their time, effort, and lots of money calculating various price indices to measure inflation when all they had to do was check the cost of the local Big Mac.
