Many people, myself included, have stopped donating to the DNC and have decided to donate directly to the (local) candidates of their choice.

I guess we'll see which model is more effective come November.
That's a fair point. Some do both too. We shall see.

Interesting -- was reading about this last week.

While RNC is doing better collecting funds for the general RNC account, individual Democratic candidates are out pacing fund raising over their individual RNC candidates.

For me it suggests life long Republicans donate to the party -- and don't care who the candidate is as long as the RNC throws buckets of money at them to win.

The DNC is poorly organized and doesn't support local, individual candidates as well.

As a voter -- these are interesting discussions but mean nothing.

I don't care if the RNC has more money - I care about the candidates running and their priorities.

As with all things, one can study the percentages.....

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...orecast/house/

If you see those numbers creeping one way or the other, it may mean a little....

But with midterms, sadly, most people don't pay much attention and also the money is spent in the last 6 weeks.

I have to wonder, tho.....these parties still spend most money on TV ads. Do actual human beings watch regular TV these days?

GOP might spend more money on social media if they didn't get censored. Hopefully there will be more conservative SM sites in the future to put the nail in the coffin of Dem party and liberal censorship.
Generally where there is a demand it gets filled in a free market.

I watch local news every morning. The GOP candidate for governor (CO), or some PAC that supports him, has been running the most obnoxious and desperate attack ad at least once an hour every day for several weeks, so TV ad money is still being spent.

I've not seen anything yet from his opponent, but I expect things will ramp up in the next month or so.

Florida's Democrat candidate for Gov. was running TV adds for several months and the GOP candidate was way behind and recently started running a few adds but what put him ahead was a Trump rally.

And that is the bottom line...all of these threads and posts mean nothing when the when the elephant in the room is that there is an agent of Putin in The White House whose agenda is to distance The USA from it's allies all over the world. No normalcy in anything until Trump the traitor gets the boot and his comeuppance and the Russkie threat to our democracy and world standing is fully addressed. Until then it's all based on bull-****. Nothing at all to smile or joke about!

Now that's funny. No joke.

Your post has no relation, correlation or relevancy to the post you are responding to. Don't you see that or did you merely respond to bump up your OP? Bottom line...Trump is a traitor and criminal and if there is money pouring in for the GOP it is their desperate attempt to remain relevant and further enrich themselves before their well deserved demise due to them being an ever shrinking party.
