I'm still trying to figure out why Comey was a hero to Trump for coming out weeks before an election talking about reopening the Hillary email investigation and breaking with protocol to do it. Weeks later he's fired for investigating Trump. MMMMk. When you do something crooked and illegal what is the first thing you do when you know you have something to hide? How about lie, create a narrative that you're being treated unfairly, and destroy as many detractors as possible. So what you're saying is that there is a deep state trying to get Trump with what? All of his own appointees? I'm wondering how all of these indictments swirling around Trump's inner circle get through a grand jury? Are the court systems now part of the deep state? How are the jurors coming back with these guilty verdicts? Are they all part of the deep state? If there really is a deep state, why go through the court systems? Why not just make him disappear and make it look like an accident? Easy enough when you're among the elite in the intelligence world, and certainly way easier than a tedious court system.
Go ahead and live in fantasy land waiting for Hillary to be prosecuted. Any day now, it's been two years and nothing but chatter. Meanwhile back at the Mueller investigation, the reality is getting ever closer to Trump.
Comey came out to run interference on Weiner's laptop. Had he not opened his mouth off about Crooked Hillary Rodham Clinton™, we would have.
Y'all say "You'll never get Clinton, it's been years and you've got nothin."
Oh we've got the whole thing.
I'm not saying she's gonna wear orange. She probably should, but she probably won't.
But the damage is done. It's all down on paper. We just gotta remove those pesky black lines, and we will. We're peeling that onion just as we speak. Hope to get a few layers by Thursday.

Four things James Baker did wrong...
1) used dnc lawyer as a source
2) the FBP tried to redact it by claiming National Security
3) used journalist David Corn as a source to get a version of the dossier
4) was present when they had conversation to remove Trump under 25th Amendment.
All four of those things are politics, FBP, you lose.

He wasn't fired for 'investigating Trump." He was fired for leaking classified info to the press.

I don't think that is correct, Baker testified that McCabe, and Lisa Page were serious about recording Trump, and trying to use the 25th amendment.
The level of Rosenstein's involvement is still unknown.

I think that's what Mueller is trying to get to the bottom of now, but since Trump won't put on his big boy pants and go talk to Mueller about exactly why he fired Comey. I guess we will have to go by his Lester Holt interview. We may just have gotten one of the very few glimpses into an honest answer we'll ever get out of Trump. Go back and listen to the interview again. After Trump is caught he spins in another direction and says that it never happened, and that the interview was basically, fake. Yeah right. Then there's the comments to the Russian's that he fired "nut job Comey" and that it eased pressure from the Russia investigation. The business insider quotes Kellyanne "Comey helped Trump win."
So what makes more sense. Trump fires Comey for being disloyal for investigating Trump or Trump fires Comey for, wait which excuse did he finally settle on after trying a couple on for size? You can't have it both ways, but in Trump world two and two often equal five.
Rumor has it that Mueller has a copy of Trump's letter drafted by Trump and Miller with an unvarnished glimpse into Trump's thinking about firing Comey. Evidently McGahn found the angry tone and meandering problematic. I wonder how Mueller got a copy of the draft? Deep state or super leaky white house?

According to you, Mueller has a confession, and documents proving obstruction of justice. LoL
So, what's Mueller waiting for, he's got Trump for obstruction of justice. LoL
Comey was fired for how he mishandled investigations during the 2016 election, Trump has stated this, as well as the AG, and the DAG.

Rosenstein’s remarks were documented in a memo that then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe wrote following the meeting.
Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan would like to discuss things with R-Rod.
Don't look like it's gonna happen this week though. Rod told them, I already did my meeting on Airforce One! Neener neener.
