However, the story is that Mollie was found, dead. That's the story. Trying to use her death to push a political agenda is just plain wrong.
Want to have immigration reform? I'm all for it. But don't use a dead 20 year old girl as a poster child. For all of the immigrants who have murdered, there are many more who haven't and don't deserve to be lumped in and called murderers.
It's under the same principle of 9/11 and the Islamaphobia. Deal with illegal immigration. Don't make all illegal immigrants look like murders. Just like not all Muslims are terrorists.

They're having a hard time separating the fact that a girl was murdered from the fact that the murder was an illegal.
The fact that he was an illegal did not compel him to murder Mollie.
The issue stems that he shouldn't have been there in the first place, which I agree with.
But again, even if he was a "legal" citizen, his actions would have most likely been the same in the same situation.
A murderer is going to murder someone regardless of citizenship status.
I despise violent criminals whether they are legal or undocumented. The fact is 12 million undocumented are here now and I support hunting down the one's that are violent offenders, however I object to them all being demonized. Many of them I assume are good people.
The woman is dead. Who killed her matters less than the fact that she's dead.
If some guy born down the street from her, both parents US citizens killed her, she'd still be dead.
That's NOT this case, if he was born here it would be LESS preventable, being that he WASN"T born here AND/OR shouldn't be here.
IT WOULD/SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOTALLY PREVENTABLE.
