The slap in the face was appropriate as a response but to continue to kick her ass was uncalled for. And had it stayed at that point I'd say nobody should be arrested. Of course I think nobody should be arrested if a guy pinches a chick's butt either. He may deserve more than merely a slap in return but there's no cause for the cops to get involved so long as things don't escalate.
