You know the 1950's were not as bad as you might think even though it was before my time.
More importantly, many people point to the 1960's when culturally we shifted from traditional values, conformity and assimilation into American culture, to rebellion, moral decay and individualism.
Free love and drug use seemed to be the hippies mantra, and that helped lead to the cultural dissolution of the family.
There is little doubt that we took a turn for the worse, but leftist are malcontents by their very nature, so naturally they are never satisfied and always looking to tear down the aforementioned.
As a dem who lives 40 miles from the border, of course they should be shipped home. And we should have more effective (note that word!) border security too. Most all the dems I know feel likewise.
