This is just one sign of society decaying. What matters is not what is true or right, it doesn't matter what people need in terms of food, education, health care, or even the economy in general. All what matter is how can rich people get richer.
If one does not think he/she makes Fair Market Value, they should be job-hopping in a great market.
My corp has counter offered 5 who quit. In 3 cases, the new corp went higher still. In all 5, we lost the employee.
That is a consequence of wage labor. It is the second main reason why prices keep going up, therefore people need to continually switch to higher paying jobs, a self-defeating cycle.
Did you watch the video? It is just a short example of how money corrupts information, and news. But that's how the whole economy runs. Food is not produced to nurture human life, it is the cheapest products packed with chemicals to increase shelf life and profits. Apartments are build for rich people so they can "invest", and stay empty. While at the same time millions are homeless. Same with any other aspect of society.
It is truly astonishing how people really believe the system is fine.
Hopefully real socialism and the principles of mutual aid will come into this country's mainstream and people will finally fight back against capitalism.
