They won't though because Americans who aren't Trump supporters and aren't social conservatives aren't real Americans by their definition.

The toothless wonders who support Trump won’t protest. They are too afraid. Big shots behind the computer though.

as long as things are handled as laid out in the US constitution, where's the issue?

It's quite obvious that most of them will never do that. He was correct when he stated he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and still retain their support.

Hey watch it. I may have a Medicare card, but I am still a card carrying member of the ACLU.
Please don't paint Boomers as Trumpers. We protested the VietNam War. We marched for Civil Rights. We watched Kent State...please! Boomers can still be progressives, give us a chance

However, your post was quite humorous!

This is the elephant in the room when it comes to Trump's impeachment, especially if he is convicted and removed from office. I want Trump gone just as much as any other liberal but it cannot be done hastily or without undeniable proof of a crime. Why? Trump is a populist who is still backed by a very loyal base. Impeaching for the wrong reasons could cause our nation's ongoing "cold culture war" to go hot.

So what do you think? Is Guiliani correct in that Americans would take up arms to defend Trump if Congress tried to impeach him?
What Americans?

We should also clarify that the "IF" will likely only happen under very severe circumstances.

Maybe a few morons would try but I don't see that happening. A rifle in one hand and a cane in the other, really?

I can't. Ambivalence is high.

Read the Retirement Forum on CD sometime. They aren't supposed to talk politics but when they do, it's anti Trump. I know a few people who like Trump and they are in their 50s. Not old or retired people.
The rich elite is a locus of support for him sure, but undereducated underachieving angry old white people is clearly another.
