Mccain's mistakes and errors resulted in hundreds thousands of deaths but this won't matter to our joke of a MSM because those deaths were Iraqis, Vietnamese, Palestinian, Yemeni and Latinos in Central America. e.g. populations with zero purchase among U.S. Media Elites.

why do you keep doubling down and defend and excuse our bombings in North Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos?......civilians were targeted and then you copy and paste a report from the CIA (of all agencies) to excuse the bombings.

this has nothing to do about Trump.....this has to do about Mccain and his war monger record in all the wars he has been involved either as a pilot and Senator.

Mccain's father, who was Commander of the Naval Fleet in the Pacific was another war monger that advised LBJ and Nixon in carpet bombing Cambodia and Laos during the war, which was illegal and consider war crimes.

how anybody after the facts in Vietnam still defends the war and defends Mccain that still after he came back was living in a fantasy that the war was still winnable if we put more troops and did more bombings is beyond me.

the same Mccain that after the facts came out on Iraq and Afghanistan his solution was more troops and more bombings instead of scaling back and getting the hell out of there.

if you don't see a pattern here of the mindset of Mccain of much of his adult life then you are more lost and confused then a cockroach without antennas.

Being a Veteran doesn't excuse all the other crappy stuff he did. Seriously, it's not a free pass. He was a jerk, he was mean-spirited, and he hated Democrats. Are you saying Democrats all of a sudden have a love for war veterans? Give me a break! Democrats just have an already established hate for Trump. That's all there is that binds the two. It looks ridiculous.

If McCain has said yes to overthrowing OBC like he had so many times before, none of these conversations would be taking place and you know it. His rise to fame was his NO VOTE, and it gained him several thousand Democratic admirers on the way out the door. It was his F-U- to Trump. Oh yay. So admirable.

What does that say about the sitting President of the United States when two REPUBLICANS (Barbara Bush, John McCain), banned "Republican" Donald Trump from attending their funerals.

and Yet McCain asked the other living presidents, both republican and democrat, to deliver eulogies at his funeral.

Wow.

if that's true....it shows that they are FAKE Christians.......and it shows Mccain was a bitter old man until his death.

Not the actions of an "honorable" man.

Who cares if they are christian? What does believing in fairy tales for adults have to do with respecting and honoring a man who was a POW for over 5 years, was tortured and survived.

This is the first time in history that a power plant was considered a target? Shocked about our bombing North Vietnam? no. I watched the B-52's fly over us...……..You are the one who needs to study war bubba...…...civilians have been killed in every conflict since the beginning of man.Its a sad fact but it is fact. As it turned out, Hanoi was the sensitive spot for getting them to negotiate, the bombing Hanoi in late 1972 finally brought them to the table. Our goals were to get our POW's and troops out, and hopefully be able to leave South Vietnam able to stand on it's own. How do you do that? Well, one of the major problems was the VC had invaded eastern Cambodia, they had base camps there for years, used to regroup and supply the VC, and no doubt they recruited the locals to aid in that effort. In 1970, along comes a new president in Cambodia, Lon Nol, whom was pro american and wanted the VC removed from Cambodia. Nixon used air power to help and ally, and fight the same enemy we were fighting in Vietnam. This would seem to make good sense at the time, to get them to the table and end the war. McCain and all those boys might still be rotting away over there, without Nixon giving it all he could, in operation Freedom Deal and the bombing of Hanoi. You have to bomb the nest and make the communist elite uncomfortable, they didn't want to live in a bunker and could care a less how many peasants got killed, but bring it to them, and behold, they agree to release our POW's and acknowledge the government of South Vietnam, at least for the moment. If we would have done follow up bombings of Hanoi whenever they broke the agreement, it might have worked and allowed South Vietnam to sustain itself.

That wasn’t our goal, it was to destroy Vietnam and any hopes it had of inspiring an Asian nationalist movement. And it worked, it had nothing to do with south Vietnam.

If we cared about south Vietnam we wouldn’t have invaded them and put ourselves in charge.

I’m not a trump supporter.

But you are a far right extremist for supporting McCain.
