Typical lefty name calling noted.

They lifted up McCain in the primaries in order to knock him down. They called him a racist when he is obviously is not a racist.

They did it then.

They used tactic in 2016, but it didn't work.

They will use it again for 2020.

This is who they are.

I don't disagree that Japan attacked us while Nam we didn't. If you are looking for that, you are talking to the wrong poster. Vietnam was built around the domino theory and yellow journalism like Iraq 2003. Unlike Iraq though, we didn't do it to dump a dictator we should have done in 1991. The genocides alone that were innuendo in the 1980's and became realized after Desert Storm, was enough for that. As for Nam, we shouldn't have gotten involved, but we did and the US used the most effective methods to win, based on the ways the Viet-Cong used. Just as we were with Japan with bombing the civilians. FYI, if we invaded Japan which was the alternative to the nuclear option, FAR more civilians would have died.

Did McCain actually steal that money, no. He was used a deflection to William Keating for being guilty, just as Trump is doing today. What McCain had was ties to the man and ultimately did somewhat help him, but he got away with a slap on the wrist based on the evidence.

So attacking Communist are bad I take it. Does Russia count for probe-hacking into election rolls?
This is honestly all false and ridiculous.

No, I'm not a Trump supporter, I'm pretty far left actually/

We shouldn't have taken out Saddam actually, we supported his rise to power, and we took him out once we wanted direct control of the country. There was no benevolent reasoning for the war. We also aggravated Japan in many ways and committed unnecessary atrocities (that no one has paid for). Vietnam was a purposeful war crime. The communist party in North Vietnam was never pro-China and never seriously pro-USSR (they were mainly independent receiving limited to no arms from both). The government on the other hand knew what they were doing, they were worried Asian nationalism was on the rise that could lessen US influence so they hoped the destruction of Indochina would limit the movement politically (that is why we invaded BOTH south and north Vietnam, despite media reports).

The logic you're using here is just meant as defense those in power. The crimes they commit are different from those in power committed, and yet because of McCain's direct (yes, direct) involvement of 2,000,000,000$ disappeared (that was tax payer money by the way).

Now this is the most insulting part of your post. The Sandinista's held no military threat to the US, coming off of a military dictatorship (that the US supported) their socialist policies were considered improvements by the UN. Then Reagan, with the support of McCain, funded a fascist (not democratic) death squad, named the Contras, who worked to destroy all progress Nicaragua had made killing farmers and civilians left and right. The UN deemed this an international unprovoked crime, yet neither Reagan nor McCain faced an international tribunal.

McCain: racist, bigot & homophobe

Democrats for McCain: Racists?

John McCain's Racism is nothing new

-----------------------

This is also a lesson for anyone learning about Democrats and politics, that the DEFAULT claim for any Republican opponent is that he/she is a racist.

McCain was a racist when he was the main opponent in 2008. It's been 10 years. Where was his racism at over this time? Today he is a favored Republican by the left... but he was a racist in 2008. What happened?

What happened is that, because of that strained relationship, McCain became liberals' and the media's hero (but you knew that).

And I have to say, as an aside...I take the unseemly comments during the campaign with a grain of salt. I didn't, however, like the comment Trump made about McCain's having been captured, and I said so. I also said many times, that a lot of what I viewed as McCain's wavering on issues was, IMO, the result of what he endured during his years in captivity--one effect of which, BTW, was made fun of by a giggling MTV twit who, in 2008, cackled that McCain's wife had to help him comb his hair. That'd be because his arms, like his legs, were broken and reset, and broken and reset by those barbarians while he was in captivity--something that twit couldn't relate to.

I'm glad his suffering is over, and I hope he rests in peace.

Oh she is the likely winner and likely will face Sinema, but it is far too soon and only cements my Sinema vote once early ballots come.

Did Clinton or Obama disparage a POW for being a POW?

Trump disparaged McCain for being a POW. And the icing on the cake was when Trump said “ I like people who were not captured”.

I voted for Trump. Obviously I did not drink the kool-aid and have no compulsion to defend him when he’s off base.

Self-absorbed much? I hope this idiot doesn't get a single vote.

And there's classy Tomi Lahren campaigning for Ward, calling McCain a RINO in his final hours.

If true, hope it costs her the election.

He was a RHINO, unless he changed his political beliefs in his final hours.
