Max Mosley's father was British Fascist leader Oswald Mosley.

Do British and Irish people still use the phrase "****** in the woodpile"? Is the driver's father explanation that it was commonly used in British English, at least up until the 1980s, accurate?

  • Say NASCAR is a sport for deplorables and it's dying.
  • Make personal attacks on anyone who says otherwise. 1/2 dozen of them here on me.
  • Google up bunch of links from leftist MSM to prove their derangement
  • Get mad
  • Russians
I've never seen a group of people act so miserable towards their fellow Americans.

How cute to see the rightists feigning outrage over actions taken over mere words while conveniently overlooking the action NASCAR took when Junior said a baaaaaaaaaad word in the winner's circle.

I'd say a sponsor has more right to choose where they spend their $$$ than NASCAR has to take away points earned on the track for the mere utterance of a word.

Why don't you come to the Charlotte metro, a place so important to both political parties, they both hold conventions here in the same decade, and see for yourself. NASCAR isn't dying. But I get why the leftists want to pretend that it is.

And if Democrats can't start winning places like Suburban Charlotte, instead of hating on the people there, then, they have little chance of winning back any battle ground state.

In your own words from another thread:

Please -- you spare no effort to insult anyone who doesn't think like you all the time.
Your claim NASCAR was booming was false and there is signficant evidence -- even from the racing world media to support it and you say the links prove the derangement.

So you are saying anyone who believes the facts is deranged. That's an insult.

Your feelings are your own and you are entitled to them even if they aren't based on anything but emotions.
We were just trying to help you out a little, Sometimes people don't know what they don't know until someone informs them.

The second article is the most interesting and talks about how a bunch of folks from Nascar got together to address the declining interest in Nascar and what they can do to fix it.

I know it is important to you so thought you might like to read a little.

Baron Dixon Smith used the phrase in 2008 in the House of Lords, and it caused some contoversy.

Robert Dixon-Smith, Baron Dixon-Smith - Wikipedia

It should be known that the N word orignates from the Latin adjective niger meaning "black", and the word was considered less controversial in the past, indeed Agatha Christie used the N word in the title of one of her books, whilst Guy Gibson of the Dambusters fame named his black dog after the latin for black, and there are other references.

Due to the racial slur meaning that the term represents today, it is of course unacceptable but it wasn't always as controversial as it is today.

???? What does that mean?

The Democrats didn't ask this company to drop the sponsorship.

Yes there are racists on both sides of the aisle -- yup.
