He will be questioned and allowed to respond for as long as his questioners need to question him and as long as he needs to respond.

You're correct, by the legal definition.

But how do you prove it? Witnesses? Physical evidence (dna)?

None of that exists in this case. Only accusations and hearsay. Our legal system doesn't see that way. Sorry.

Do you understand how this works?

Each Senator gets a certain amount of time. It is not "interrupting" to speak when it is your time.

I've seen this same question posed a few times now, and at least one explanation is that Ford wasn't following kavanaugh's career enough to know or care what he was doing, until now. Maybe she like me never heard about Kavanaugh being picked by Trump until Trump picked him out for the SC. I don't really know, but like so many of these questions that we in the peanut gallery tend to ask, as if the answer is all telling, more often than not, we don't seem to be focused on what matters most.

Here's to justice prevailing in any case, no matter where it may lead or how we get there...

Perfect. Would the FBI be a good entity to do this? As part of a complete investigation of course.

Almost 2pm eastern. Not sure there's time for that.

This isn't a trial in our legal system.

This is a Senate hearing regarding the confirmation of a Supreme Court Justice.

Sorry.

I honestly don't get why people are saying she's such a credible witness. She seems like a flake to me.
I strongly disagree with you. Some people are raised to put up a "brave front" and do not display much emotion. Why would someone want to subject herself to such harsh treatment before a national audience?
