I have a question, why is has been actress Alyssa Milano in the hearing? I'm watching Judge Kavanaugh on my big screen tv and all I see is her face behind the judge.....what the hell she has to do with this case and who invited her?
The cop just walked down the isle and told her something and then eyeballed her. Then right at break he walked over and grabbed her bag and walked out. She rolled her eyes.
I can't figure out if the politicians were trying to be transparent or if they wanted the circus.
I believe the Republicans didn't care what Ford said and really just were accommodating her and ready to move on.
There will be no winner here -- even if Kavanaugh is confirmed -- his reputation will always hang over him, his comments, his decisions.
Trump, McConnell, Graham and most of the GOP congressman already said as much. They made up their mind before the hearing. The only hope we have now is for Collins, Murkowski, Flake or Sasse to do the right thing, not the engage in more partisanship shenanigan by voting this guy through.
Can't help being curious as to why this woman didn't come forward when Judge Kavanaugh was about to become a federal judge 12 years ago. If someone who sexually assaulted me years before was going to hold such a high position, I'd be saying something about it. Why now? Why not then? (thinking out loud)
So it looks like he lied non stop about his buddy Mark Judge providing information under penalty of perjury. Turns out some lawyer sent something in, NOT under penalty of perjury.
They really are terrified of getting that guy under oath. I wonder why? What a farce.
Probably because he would be a clearly unreliable witness. It seems that he was a chronic alcoholic who's life was basically a failure.

Lol, you mean like Ford? She had done the same thing...she had told Feinstein not to name her, and, had dug in her heels and threw up roadblocks about testifying. It took awhile for her to be named and for her to finally testify.

The vast majority of Americans don't know the name of any federal judge not on the Supreme Court.
Pretty sure Kavanaugh will get confirmed, and Dr. Ford will get to go to prison. (Perjury,etc, false witness)
