The Republicans are furious they had such limited time to railroad the hearing. So they pound their fists, insult the Democrats, and repeat old cliche lines they used during Anita Hill.
This time tho they more angrily put their collective hand over Ms Fords mouth to be sure Donald Trump can continue to rape the american people for as long as possible .

He lied numerous times and tried to change the subject and filibuster instead of answering several questions. He says he wants his name cleared but absolutely would not say he welcomed a new F.B.I. investigation to get to get at the facts. His body language was that of a liar and his tears were all for himself.

Yeah, I agree McCain was a much better man than Graham. Not perfect, but fair and honest to the best of his ability. Perhaps McCain's death symbolizes the death of the Republican party.
No he isn't entitled. That said if he is innocent then he is being slandered and has just cause to be angry, very angry. As a judge he also knows that he is supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Can you honestly say that he has been treated that way?

I don't like him, but I agree with the bolded. I posted a link before his testimony that mentioned just two of the threats that officials had mentioned his family has received (one of the threats they had received to that point mentioned his daughters 'burning in h***' (IIRC), and the other suggested (I'll put it euphemistically) that his wife should 'pull a Lee Harvey Oswald to JFK' on him). Both of those...despicable and beyond the pale, IMO.
It sounds like Flake is highly likely to be a no. He may be the only no. If that’s the case I think 1-2 Democrats still vote yes
I got the impression Flake would be a yes because he said both were believable but only one had corroboration. What has he said that gave you the impression he would be a no vote?
A man probably held a door open for them on the way into the hearing...hence their displeasure.
I'm a fifth generation Bay Area native, and the two sides of my family are very different. One common thread than runs through we men on both sides of the family is a sort of scratching of our heads re the varied reaction of women (even within our family) to having doors held open for them (we were all raised to do so). One thing I like about living in Texas (I'm the only one who currently lives in Texas, but others in my family have in the past) is that pretty much all women seem to appreciate having doors held open for them.
