Actually, after a week of FBI colonoscopy on the issue, Kavanaugh will most likely pull his consideration for a seat on SCOTUS and blame those dastardly witch hunting Democrats and Trump hating liberals.
I am sure that's the goal for the Democrats. Then they can move on to one of the other nominees Trump already claimed he'd consider. They've had their names for a couple of years now. They may have a problem in that the only way Judge Kavanaugh can restore his reputation is to be seated on the High Court, so I see no reason for him to back off now. What does he have to lose?

I see the Dems as ratcheting up the accusations. The multiple gang rape strategy didn't work for them, so the next accuser will have to go big or go home. Expect something like multiple gang rapes in Tijuana with live donkeys and Tupac/Biggie in a threesome with Kavanaugh at some point in the evening.
No, they have to try to tie Kavanaugh to being involved with the supposed Russian conspiracy with Trump to steal the election from Hillary Clinton. Kavanaugh was the mastermind and is actually the long-lost bastard brother of Vladimir Putin, or something.
You know as well as I do when the FBI doesn't find anything, Dems will cry fowl because the investigation was only for a week and too short. They'll demand a full investigation from scratch going back to when Kavanaugh was in elementary school.
