Let's get the FBI to find out the truth about Ford. It will discredit her accusations.
I certainly hope they do.

Kavanagh should withdraw.
Kavanaugh should NOT withdraw. All accusations are bogus and are just another example of the destructive nature of today's Left.

We don't know.

I find it hard to believe Ford would insist on more investigation if she knows that she has all that drug and alcohol abuse you seem to think she has.

Seriously -- whether or not there is more to find out -- only time will tell.

For now assuming she is not the person she says she is or he isn't who he says he is is all bi-partisan theories based on personal bias.

I doubt anything concrete will come out of the investigation but it should happen. If nothing is turned up that provides more concrete evidence then at least Republicans can say they tried to uncover the facts.

If the investigation didn't happen - there would always be the question -- did they refuse to investigate more because they knew there was more to uncover.

As for the delay tactics --there is no deadline for a new Judge ...there isn't. And for Trump, Republicans and supporters to focus on getting this through quickly -- they are losing sight of the bigger picture. Doesn't matter if it happens in a week or a month, as long as this administration gets a judge in there. Gorsuch got put through with some pull back and if Kavanaugh doesn't get in -- they will find someone else who doesn't have the questionable character that Kavanaugh does.
Stop right there. Kavanagh does not have "questionable character". That is a tag put on him by Leftist sore losers. Know any?
America sees their sick game and is getting closer to taking action.

He's had seven previous background checks done by the FBI. They would have known at that time if his drinking is a problem. Obviously it isn't. Background checks include interviews with high school and college friends and teachers who knew him many years ago. That's already been done several times.

Let the chips fall where they may. Frankly, after watching his belligerence towards some of the mild mannered Democrats and listening to his blaming his issues on everyone - including the Clintons, I think the guy disqualified himself but it's not my call.

If the Senate votes him in now expect a Nov backlash from Women voters.
What a laugh! "Mild mannered Democrats"!!!!! Obviously you don't see what your side is heading toward. LOL.

Which is probably why Trump agreed to the FBI investigation. There's nothing to investigate.

What this debacle has illustrated, all too painfully, is that a lot of people are of the mindset "pictures, or it didn't happen." I suspect it goes beyond even that and what many actually think is, "and even if it did happen exactly as she said, who cares...because he was a teenager, boys will be boys, no big deal, hey it happens."

Lying to the FBI and the senate committee is a big deal. Lying in a job interview and getting found out, disqualifies someone from a job in many companies. Ascending to the highest court for a lifetime position is one of the biggest jobs there is.

That people don't care if Kav lies about whatever he's asked, under oath, is troubling. And make no mistake, he did lie. Witnesses who were with him at various high school or college events, multiple witnesses, have and still are coming forward to set the record straight. In addition, Kav may have a drinking problem. No big deal? Is the standard for a SCOTUS justice someone who drinks a lot of beer and will lie under oath? That's who people think should be deciding constitutional issues for the next several decades? He's the best candidate for the job?

I don't buy it. The women I know are outraged by the way the Demcrats have assaulted the Integrity of this man at all costs.

The dirty politics is motivating a lot of conservatives to get out the vote in a month. They might have stayed home without this freak show.

Trump had no choice. The deal was -- investigate or Flake was out -- if Flake was out -- those other Senators would have been out. They risk losing it all together.

Trump didn't agree...Trump conceded.....gave in -- had to go along.

Let's not pretend this is what the Republicans wanted.
