That's exactly how he acted on the Fox interview with his wife.
The left criticized him and said he showed no emotion, no anger, no righteous indignation at being falsely accused blah....blah...….blah. The leftist talking heads couldn't spit the new talking points out fast enough.
It doesn't matter what Kavanaugh says...….it never did.
Yes, it is a sad fact that women do lie about sexual abuse, assault and rape. That is not to say that these things are not horrible when they do occur.
However, this is why we need the presumption of innocence and due process when such allegations are made.
Right.
Honestly, I find these cousins of mine hard to believe but whatever. I don't chastise them, though I would if any of them ever had the gall to accuse my father of it, or my grandfather. So far, they've had the presence of mind to keep their names out of it, around me anyway.
But all these uncles? Surely with all that going on all around me as a kid, I would have noticed SOMETHING amiss. The cousins would have said SOMETHING to me during that time, or at least before we were all in our fifties, wouldn't ya think?
It happened, but I refuse to let it define my life.
exactly....Kathryn the past is a strange animal...we all have one
..Just remember, if any one little small thing in the past was changed...you wouldn't be the person you are today
Well where are you going to go when right out of the gate, very first thing, the accuser's witnesses all say they are not witnesses...
..and her girlfriend, Keyser, who Ford claimed was at the party and knows Kavanaugh....takes it to the next level and says she doesn't even know Kavanaugh
Maybe. He almost certainly lied under oath when describing his drinking/blackout history. Whether that is enough to remove him from the bench remains to be seen.
He was protecting his name, being aggressive, does not make you a bully. He was not attacking those interviewing him, he was standing up for his name and what he has accomplished over the many years as being a judge.....even when nobody cared he was on the 2nd highest court in the United States.....
Did you care back then? It's still a life time appointment....
If his performance was in response to a trial, he made the worst witness ever. Ask any lawyer about witnesses like him, they try to keep them off the stand.
As this was not a trial but a job interview, he had no choice.

However, this is why we need the presumption of innocence and due process when such allegations are made.
And it is even a sadder fact that the vast majority of women do not lie about such things, and that powerful men like Kavanaugh (if he is guilty) have been getting away with this crap forever.

He clearly stated that his freshman year room mate had it out for him....so, is it a lie? or just more BS from the left?
I had a chance to discuss this with my wife last night. She immediately said that the whole thing is suspect because Christine Ford waited 36 years to come forward with these allegations.
It was obvious to her that Ford is politically motivated.
I can accept why a woman won't go to law enforcement, particularly a 15 year-old in 1982. I have a harder time believing Ford didn't tell any of her friends about what she claims happened. Not even a vague reference such as be careful if you're around Brett and Judge. Not even a reference to the incident in college or later years when she must have had discussions with other women about physical and sexual safety.
