This is a lose-lose for Pubs.

If they go ahead and cram this confirmation through, as it appears they want to, then already motivated female voters will turn out in even greater numbers in November.

If Ford's testimony is credible and a couple of Pub senators vote NO, then it's back to the drawing board and the next one up may be "confirmed' by a lame duck senate after the midterms and that justice will be seen as illegitimate.

I don't believe this woman is a crisis actor or part of some deep state plot to get rid of Kavanaugh. I believe this happened to her. It's awful but he was 17 and there is no other record of anything ever happening.

Why would he say that if it wasn't true?
