Seems to me it would likely revert to the situation we had before Roe v Wade. You'd have to go a long way, as it was illegal in the great majority of the country.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aborti...s_pre-1973.svg

Illegal (30)
Legal in case of rape (1)
Legal in case of danger to woman's health (2)
Legal in case of danger to woman's health, rape or incest, or likely damaged fetus (13)
Legal on request (4)

What's really absurd is those Senators that are today claiming "this is a very solemn process" after all the theater they've participated in over the last 2 days.

I did love one Senator who said on the subject of demanding they make the candidate's emails public "fine, we should pass a rule making ALL the Senators emails that have anything to do with this hearing public in the interest of full disclosure". GREAT IDEA!
The Dems are tripping over themselves in looking stupid with Booker leading the way.

But additionally they cover:

But it doesnt look like they are buying off people to protest this they are just paying for the expenses. And they had 6 figure funds paid to support this. Getting 300 people all told who are willing to be arrested.
Yep. This is largely political theatre but helping with some cash isn't anything insidious. Besides, I was told Roberts nomination would end abortion so the sky is falling yet again.....

Interesting parallel, this is why it's so hard to get sustained protests going with regards to police brutality in some parts of the country unlike say....Ferguson, MO.

The money to replace lost wages, places to sleep overnight, busing, food etc. is not provided when it's a place with "connections" within the party.

You start funding BLM protests in Chicago on a large scale with food, rooms etc. and you are going to be contacted by the establishment. Sharpton did this and sold out a while back but it worked out great for his career.

Why isn’t this a 14A issue?
Nowhere in the 14th Amendment does it say you have a right to kill a baby.

Booker is grandstanding and campaigning from the Senate floor. He comes off as a bit too eager and really, mentally unstable in my eyes.

Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.
Just do it.

It's all the rage these days.

It should say: "Believe in something, even if it is a completely made up lie"

Sen. Sasse said protesters have been screaming for decades that “women are going to die.” When you criminalize abortion and limit our reproductive health care, women die. It’s not “hysteria”: We’re in a fight for our lives. Sexist attacks won’t stop us.

I thought libs were claiming Republicans were the ones that run on "fear"?

Wow. We really need some sort of mental health screening for our politicians.

Know one wants to take your abortions away, they just want some common sense restrictions....oh wait, wrong subject...
