So many of these career politicians are so old and crotchety - I will say one thing, Trump (who is no spring chicken himself, but I digress) is right about the need to drain the swamp.

The FBI should have investigated this matter months ago when Ford's letter showed up
If she refused that, then immediately after her name was revealed
There is NO REASON this has to be a he-said/she-said in that committee meeting
There has been NO desire to have that unbiased investigation done
Either from a rush to judgement before the mid-terms
Or from the possibility that there is an element of truth to Ford's and others' allegations

Kavanaugh made such broad statements in that Fox interview about his personal lifestyle during prep school and college that just leave him open to being proved a liar because I am sure based on various accounts of people who knew him during that time that he was pretty much a party boy and was a heavy drinker and likely engaged in sexual encounters of various intimacy...
And THAT could certainly be documented fairly thoroughly by the FBI...
Of course comments to Fox are not under oath--but I guarantee you he will be asked questions about that today by the Dems if not the GOP's representative...
I agree it should have been investigated months ago. Problem is that Feinstein sat on it for months in order to stall. If this came to light months ago we may or many not be in this circus today.
I am sure Kavanaugh was a party boy and heavy drinker in college. I do not believe he lied about that (I could be wrong).
FBI probably knew about heavy drinking in college/high school. Thing is if there was no evidence whatsoever that he was a heavy drinker after his college days I doubt there was anything negative to report on the subject. Now if he was a known heavy drinker in his adult/jurist days that would be a problem. Some kids drink heavily in high school and college and hardly pick up a drink in their adult life.
Some never drink in college and become alcoholics in adult life.
If Dr. Ford went the local authorities and opened and investigation even a month ago we would not be sitting here today. An investigation would have been opened. Detectives would have had months to interview everyone and see if there is any merit to indict him.

These guys are so old. It’s so painful to watch these guys needing glasses to read. I’m dreading that day. I would lose my head if it wasn’t attached. I have no idea how I’mgoing to keep track of reading glasses all day long

This information needs to be presented to the American people because the so-called 'mainstream media' will not honestly report the facts. Therefore, Grassley has to present the situation and the facts directly to the people here.

Men going at her physical appearance. She is a well-educated woman. Typical C-D rhetoric.
