Now comes the so-called 'mainstream media' to spin it in her favor. Entertainers pretending to be reporters now saying, "It was heartbreaking to hear her say she remembers the laughter"
I find ford credible, but her credibility doesn't negate no corroboration for her accusations, including Ms. Keyser whom Ford said was also at the party who denies remembering it.
This is what Keyser has said under penalty of felony:
“Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford.”
so assuming there is no perry mason moment, will accusations alone be enough to sink Kavanaugh confirmation? we will see. If accusations are enough to sink a man's career, I fear for all men who could be similarly accused of sexual assault with no proof. It is a scary precedent to set for those of us who have sons, husbands, brothers, and male friends.

You don't know how those investigations go, do you? All they ask the people you put down is to name other people to talk to. They talk to neighbors, old teachers, whatever, but the point is they talk to people, purposely I might add, that you didn't list. Worked Intel back in my military days and trust me, if you have a secret you're hiding, they are going to find it in your clearance background investigation.
And Kavanaugh’s first background check was in 1993, much closer to this time period when memories are still fresh.

First off your son has my utmost respect for serving our country and I happy to hear he is doing well now. Counseling is key as your son has learned.
Second, PTSD is not relegated to soldiers coming home from war. They get the most attention and it is probably the most severe form of it but any type of victim of violence, sexual assault or bullying can usually have some form of it. Whether Dr. Ford has it or not has yet to be determined. That is why she is testifying.
I know about PTSD. I was raped when I was a teenager. I went to counseling. I got over my PTSD.
I was also in a serious wreck when I was a teenager and for years afterward I experienced "PTSD symptoms" though I never got any counseling for that. I also got over that as well.
I was just putting some perspective on things. Clearly there are levels of PTSD. And clearly there are people who are more fragile than others.
But on one hand she's shaking and "nearly crying" (but with no tears) and then immediately afterwards she's laughing, fixing coffee (with not a tremble), etc. Come on.
The "pale," "looked ill," stuff doesn't work for me. Contrived. Do believe she saw him. Do believe he was uncomfortable.
