Through gerrymandering, voter suppression, purging voter rolls, and outright rigging elections, all over the nation we have Republicans calling the shots when the majority of voters voted for Democrats.

Dems practice the same tactics when they're in power. In fact, most of these tactics were enacted during Democrat rule.
